Here are a few images using my basic doll pattern.
Workshops are restricted to 4 people only. All workshops will include the pattern, and flesh body fabric, stuffing for the body and silk or other for the wings. You will need to bring all other materials, legs will need to match with the body. Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring your own sewing machine unless you prefer to work by hand.
There is also a workshop for making silk wings, this includes the silk and wires etc
I can also arrange workshops to assist with any patterns you already have if that is needed. I will also include links to books by other doll makers and useful websites.

This is the basic doll pattern, suitable for beginners or if you want to make a doll suitable for a child.
The arms are attached with buttons but could be tied for a child and the doll has a flat face and stiffened wings . Size 34cm approx. All dolls can be made as ballet dancers rather than fairies
This doll uses a more advanced body shape with button jointed arms and legs but still has the flat face and simple wire framed wings. Size 31cm approx
The following dolls use the more advanced body shape plus a four part shaped head and more complex wings
These wings are printed on silk, stiffened wired and embellished, the ones below have also been painted
If you would prefer to make a more advance doll such as the ones below please contact me to arrange a suitable time, I can give individual tuition for these.

I will be holding a few Faery doll making workshops ready for Christmas, please contact me for dates etc. 10am-16.30pm £60-£110 (incl materials) Additional £5 if making an advanced wing.
